Nintendo of America has just announced their Platinum and Gold Rewards for Club Nintendo Members for the year of 2011. A lot of people were expecting some cool Zelda figure or maybe a game. Instead we get pins. Yes, you read that right, pins. I'm very disappointed by this. In my opinion, pins should be a Purchasable Reward not the Grand Prize. What do you think of these prizes? I wasn't as bummed about the badges as some, but at the same time, this being the first time I achieved platinum I was hoping for something along the lines of what the platinum people got last year, that little statue thingy was really, really cool.

At first I was really bummed, thinking, man, Id rather have another calendar. But, then I thought about displaying them like Stephen08 pointed out above. What sucks is, probably next June there will be something really cool, and more than likely I will not hit platinum cause Nintendo isn't releasing enough friggin games this year, at least games I want to buy. After SS and Mario Kart 7, what the hell else is there?! And I still will need like 200 coins to reach platinum!
