Kirby will be back on Wii on 23 June but the little pink blob won't be starring in a game. He's got his own Kirby TV Channel.
Download the Kirby TV Channel tomorrow on your Wii and you'll be able to watch TV shows starring Kirby.
So if you want to watch the blob resume his battles against King Dedede in Dream land you know what to do.
The channel will allow you to view over 50 Kirby episodes that will be updated twice a week over a six month period. Fans of Kirby will be able to check the programming schedule just like a real TV channel and choose from four streaming episodes at a time.
Every week, two new episodes will become available - one on a Monday and one on a Thursday.
The episodes will be available to view for two weeks before being archived to make way for new episodes. Episode one is permanently unlocked so Kirby fans can discover how he came to land in Dream Land.
Kirby Right Back At Ya
Kirby has previously starred in a cartoon called Kirby Right Back Ya (pictured above), episodes of which could be seen on Pop, a free-to-air television channel in the UK which began broadcasting in 2003.
I had almost forgotten about Wii channels. Its been so long without anything new that I may just download it for the hell of it. Wait...is this only for the UK??
I worry about Nintendo's streaming service, since I can't even watch an entire episode of Nintendo Week without it stopping to buffer every minute and a half. Not sure how well this Kirby TV Channel is going to work.
I was gonna say something like "NoA had to choose between this and Xenoblade and, well, they made their choice", but if it turns out Europe is getting everything for themselves... bah.
Yes update your router settings or move your Wii closer to it. My console is all the way downstairs while my router is on the 3rd floor. This not only slows things down but sometimes my channels never come up. I'm left looking at a black screen. Once the console has a connection the channels come up fine.
