WiiWare: Snail Mail, BIT.TRIP Flux (demo); DSiWare: Gold Fever, Zimo: Mahjong Fanatic, Hidden Photo and Beach Party Craze; Virtual Console: Mega Man 5 (Wii) and Donkey Kong (3DS)
I'm anxious to see what the third parties will bring to the table, though, if anything. VC support will dry off quickly if Nintendo's the only one supporting it.
I think the Wii VC shows it will dry off quickly regardless. That's why we should enjoy the snot out of right now, when things are new and exciting and goin' on. Party time now, we can worry about tomorrow tomorrow! *dance*
Just hit Stage 2-1 of Donkey Kong and taking a break to do some super exciting errand running.
This game is just as awesome as I remember it being. The lack of color feels a bit weird at first since that was how I played it back then, but I got over that rather quickly.
@ploot Same here, except I discovered the game for the first time a few months ago. It's terrific! Between that and LA, the 3DS VC already has a couple of the all-time best Game Boy games. Not bad at all!
MM5 is a solid title too, although I was a little more excited when I thought it was the GB MMV (solely because I already own two versions of the NES one).
Yeah, I was tricked into thinking it was the Gameboy version of Mega Man V, too. I thought it was odd they would do that, wouldn't they want to start with the first one? But now I see it's the NES version on Wii. Which is still cool, but I really want to get the old Gameboy Mega Man games again. I honestly enjoyed those more than the NES originals.
@-JKR- Oh, it gets a break for being so amazing in such short time. But it had better clean itself up and get tested tomorrow.
Regarding MMV, I will buy every Mega Man Game Boy game. I was upset when the portable Anniversary Collection was cancelled (did they lose the code or something?).
I was totally upset when that fell through, too. I have no idea what happened to it. I would have bought that collection. I would have bought it SO hard.
