CHRONO TRIGGER deserves all the caps Nintendo's press release can give it.

And you know what? I kind of want this:

Very Bust-a-Grooveish. Interesting...

YES! Lead the Meerkats!

Oh wow. I just actually read the CHRONO TRIGGER description.

Seriously, someone at Nintendo of America needs to be shot and not given a proper burial.

@Guillaume

What's wrong with it? I guess the only bit that may be a bit wrong is "restore the order of time." Is that what you're talking about?

Is that not the most boring description of the game you've ever read? How is someone who has never heard of this game supposed to know that this is a classic? That it's a must-play?

A press release isn't exactly a great way to get the word out on these games, but they could at least do it right...

@Guillaume

I guess... but it's Chrono Trigger. Does it really need a special introduction to let us know how great of a game it is? Do they usually give classics a different description to let us know that they were some of the best games on the SNES?

Posted by

No, but that's the thing: they might as well just list the games and not bother the descriptions, they're useless.

I guess I don't understand why they don't try to sell us more on the game. I remember when Pulseman came out: not a single mention of Pokémon in the description. If it had been me, Pokémon would have been plastered all over that press release.

Gotta get people interested in these old games, dammit!

Nothing for me this week. I actually downloaded Wild Guns (SNES) to play with a friend yesterday. Good game.

Hmm, kinda interested in that fishing game, gonna look into it.

Whoa, teh graphix! So lifelike!

I agree with Guillaume, the description of Chrono Trigger sounds like it came from someone who has never played the game and only has a vague idea of what it is about.

@Zero
Haha I was gonna say the description actually makes it sound very cool. It sounds very intiguing.

I need Wii points desperately...

In the past year I've played and completed 2 classic games for the 1st time: Super Metroid and Link to the Past. I skipped the SNES era. So I'm thinking Chrono Trigger should be my next classic to enjoy.

I just want to know if the WiiWare version has the movies added from the PS1 game, like the DS. If the answer is no, then I have the definitive version on the DS.

@Deerock69
DS version all the way, it's fantastic.

I find the PSOne cutscenes to detract from the flawlessness that is Chrono Trigger, they do not enhance it.

@Zero
