lol, Rival Turf! Now that's the kind of old game that's best left in the past...

But hey, if Jaleco wants to bring more games to the VC, I've always wanted to play The Ignition Factor.

edit - Oh crap, The Ignition Factor was released just a few days ago on the European VC, I like my chances...

Hmm, Ikibago sounds like it might be good. I'm waiting for F.A.S.T. on the WiiWare front this month.

Finally the SNES game we've all been waiting for.

Haha, I was just about to post that boxart. Beat me to the punch.

'It's soooooo bad.'

That boxart is great! Good for BTRunner, I guess. It will probably get many more sales. Bad for me, because I don't care about much else. Bingo could do well, though...

It seems like Nintendo is pretty much done with DSiWare. Done, done, on to the next one. Kind of sad, but I hope this means more support for 3DSWare.

@anon_mastermind

Yeah, that boxart pretty much sums up Nintendo's marketing art style for the entire SNES life cycle. Awesome! Play it LOUD!!

@GameDadGrant
Who needs FF3 when we can get a game with one of the worst boxarts ever?

Heck, I'd be happy with Adventure Island 2 (which hit Europe like 2 weeks ago). I need to stop getting my hopes up for these things...

@TriforceBun

Nintendo really does this in the most cruel way possible. What is the possible downside of making a release schedule and sticking to it? It's not like these are regular development cycles where delays are expected. Even if it was six months from today, I'd rather know that FF3, for example, was coming at a specific time, or even knowing that it for sure wasn't coming anytime soon.

@Abdooooo

That came out before the Play It Loud! campaign and was by Jaleco. I don't recall Nintendo having any boxarts that amazingly cheesy.

If the perspective in that boxart is to be believed (judging from the building's placement), those two tough guys would have to be falling forward towards the viewer for that image to make sense.

@TriforceBun

And if they are to represent the player characters in the game, one of them has to be 44 years old.

Glad we FINALLY got Bingo Party.

Bout freaking time, am I right?

I'd like to play The Ignition Factor. It reminds me of another Super NES game called The Firemen, which never came out in America but came out in Europe. I guess publishers don't think "disaster"-related games have as much of a chance in the US?

Hey I loved Rival Turf and wanna buy it on VC!

@TriforceBun

BIT.TRIP RUNNER is sort of like Adventure Island 2. From what I've read in a few semi-credible reviews.

It's kinda funny, but the DSiWare releases actually aren't bad.

No one cares about handheld downloadables, though.

I've considered picking this up in the past based on what this board has said about it. But the thing is, I didn't much care for the two Bit.Trip demos I played (Beat and...Fate, I think? The one with the orb on rails). I know Runner is more of a platformer but I'd really like to try before buyin'.

@GameDadGrant
I HAVE always wanted to be a stylist...

J/K. I'd care if I had room on my DSi.
