Everything no one ever really needed to know about the 3DS! This episode is packed with so much great content, it had to be split in two!

In part 1 Casper, Warerare, Paleo and Pandareus discuss being an early adopter, the 3DS hardware and the built-in software. Discover how the 3DS has turned Pandareus into a creepy stalker in spite of himself, find out that Warerare's Streetpass Plaza is a sausage fest, and learn that Casper is envious of both of them for these things.

In part 2, we finally discuss a selection of launch games: Pilotwings Resort, "Raymon" 3D, Nintendogs + Cats, Ghost Recon, Super Street Fighter 4 and Steel Diver.

As usual, comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, the host, etc. in this very thread! Or, be a weirdo and post them on Facebook or Twitter instead.

I must say, I have only listened to a couple podcasts, actually the very first one and then this one and I didn't even listen to all of the first one....but I feel the NW podcasts are very well done! They are just as interesting to listen to as any other podcast I have listened to on other sites. Great job guys!

I would be interested in becoming part of one of these. I need to find the mic that I had. Its actually like almost 10 years old. I thought my son had it, but apparantly that is not the case. Who knows, maybe I ended up throwing it away, cause I figured I would never use it...but I do not remember throwing it away. If I do still have it or if I ended up buying one, I would need to learn how to use skype or whatever I would need. I have never done anything like this before, but it seems like it would be alot of fun.

Again, great job to everyone, but esp. Pandareus...I'm assuming he has managed all the podcastsor maybe not.... Heck, I didn't even realize there was 5 podcasts already. I check out NW every night when I make it home and I honestly only remember seeing threads for the first 2 podcasts.

@gamewizard65

Thanks for the feedback, I would also like to commend Pandareus on the great job he does as host. It's alot of fun being on the podcast but it also requires some work, the effort that goes into getting it organised, keeping it on track and editing it afterwards must be tough. Great work.

Yeah, I'd love to have you on, as soon as you figure out the mic thing. Skype is easy to use, anyone can do it. Also, an easy way to find the podcast is to go to the home page, then click Podcast.

And thanks guys. I spend more hours on making an episode than I imagined I would, it's a lot of work, but it's fun, and comments like yours make it all worthwhile.

The comments, and the thousands of dollars that Zero sends my way each week.

I'm at part 2 of episode 6 now. Super interesting stuff! Part 1 just flew on by, never lagged at all.

Steel Diver sounds fun but it should have been a downloadable. The 3DS online shop isn't live yet so it makes sense they released it at retail to have SOMETHING for people to buy (from Nintendo), besides Nintendogs and Pilotwings. I probably won't get a 3DS until Zelda, unless there's some killer VC game that is released before then. Nice podcast, a little bloated but I listened to the whole thing so that says something. Nice job guys, once again.

Started it up this morning. Sounds good so far. Except Casper sounds like he was recording with a burlap sack over his head.

But Panda, Panda, Panda. Ridge Racer is Namco, and it has already hit Nintendo consoles twice (once even at the launch of a system)! NST developed those, though.

Also, how did you know how many pictures I've taken?! I'm forever building dioramas and shit. Or, at least, I WAS for the first couple of days.

Yeah, I was gonna point that out too. Ridge Racer 64 and Ridge Racer DS!

Bah. I never owned an N64, didn't get a DS near launch.

Think I should do retractions and errata at the beginning of each podcast, for the previous episode?

Naaaah. Never admit your weaknesses. People will forget them soon enough.

Well, not if they're recorded, I guess.

If you do retractions don't spend more than like 30 seconds on them. Otherwise it'd be a kind of boring/repetitive start to each episode.
