I'm pretty surprised they would go through this much effort for this game. I guess, like a few other people, after seeing what Mario got for his not-so-special 25th anniversary pack I just kind of expected them to do a lot less. Pretty good deal, does look like the ultimate edition of Ocarina of Time now. Makes me want Majora's Mask 3DS all the more (and of course a Zelda built around the hardware).

@missypissyNintendo is doing something completely separate for Zelda's 25th anniversary, according to Iwata at his GDC keynote. Says Miyamoto is working on it himself. Hopefully it's better than Mario's lame birthday celebration.

That's really awesome. Day 1, Nintendo. It would be nice if they modified the Master Quest even more. It's not like anybody holds it sacred. Really surprise us in that mode.

Good stuff. This was a no-brainer, I'm glad Nintendo included it. Now for them to announce a really cool unlockable once Master Quest is complete.

That's pretty cool! Now I might actually have a reason to get this, since I've never owned or played Master Quest before.

not trying to be a party pooper but i saw the video on gonintendo and that guy is really not a nintendo rep. Only the demo was playable from my understanding and therefore I really don't think this is confirmed

@FabzAre you sure? I'm almost positive I've seen that guy being interviewed at other conferences in the past.

Per Vessel_of_Light on the Zelda Board "I would. This isn't coming from some random Nintendo rep -- that's David Young, NoA's Assistant Public Relations Manager. The addition of the Master Quest is a very specific feature for him to confirm without even being asked."

According to some link I just read, his name is David Young and he is a NOA marketing rep.

Even still, it might not be real. But let's have faith, for once! Just for novelty's sake!

I don't know if my memory is a bit fuzzy because I haven't played MQ since I got it with WW back in 03, but weren't some of the solutions to some puzzles like completely ridiculous and random? Like shooting a cow in the wall in Jabu-Jabu's belly to unlock a door?

@ShadowLink_89Yep. The MQ featured a cow embedded in Jabu Jabu's epithelium tissue.
