I've got both these on the PSP. That's the "problem" with Capcom releasing their arcade games: they're releasing the same stuff they've been making available over and over again these last few years.

Just give me something you have not included in those compilations. Like Demon's Crest.

It's nothing like Super Ghouls and Ghosts. It's a slower-paced, more exploration-focused Mega Man X.

Which makes sense as it's from the same people, as far as I know. There are multiple endings based on how many items and weapons you find. And the stages are dynamic just like Megaman X, i.e. there's a forest stage, and the first time you play through it, a demon sets fire to it. If you decide to go back, the forest is burned down.

It's easily in my SNES top 5. Go play it now (if you can find a way, last I heard the game was not properly emulated, but I don't keep up with that stuff).

It looks like it is going for a lot on eBay, but then, it also looks like no one is buying it at the high price.

I don't have these Capcom arcade games in any other format, so this is somewhat of a good VC week for me.

Demon's Crest would definitely be better though. Luckily I still have my SNES cart (sorry @anandxxx). Wonderful game!

Well I already own Mega Man X on SNES, I don't really (personally) care if it comes to VC or not (although it should... why hasn't it?!)

But knowing there is another Mega Man X-esque game that I do not own... DO WANT.

Of course, I have wanted Demon's Crest for awhile. Whether because what Panda has said in the past stuck with me in some form, or because of the connection to Super Ghouls and Ghosts... either way, DO WANT.

You know, we often lament the loss of certain Wiiware titles to XBLA, but apparently that Rollergirls game was initially supposed to be on XBLA.

I don't know if it's any good, but it's at least the second game to make the XBLA->Wiiware trip that I know of, the first being that NBA Jam-y arcade basketball game. Can't remember the title, but it actually got a good review from IGN (Lucas Thomas) from what I remember.

Demon's Crest does sound pretty cool. I too am a huge Mega Man X fan, so I should check it out. I remember wondering if I should play the Gargoyle's Quest games on Game Boy first, but it seems like that's not necessary.
