Why not sign up for a (free) account and create your own content?

Destructoid was misleading then...

I don't care for the look of the characters, but those pics still made me say "**** yeah!".

Looks great! Giant destructive robots, airships, pink-haired girls... could almost be a Miyazaki property!

I actually like the character design a lot. The art direction, in general. And it's an action game. That's bully. Let's see how Prope scales up.

Looks like... 75% NiGHTS and 25% shooter imo.

Maybe not necessarily NiGHTS gameplay, as that was more... free range and 2(.5)D, but the same sense of flying around.

I don't know. I'm not even sure how the flying mechanic works. Looks weird. Click a spot and then go flying there in an arc?

Or maybe you aim in a direction and press a button to initiate a quick arcing path? Which arcs to avoid obstacles?

It does look weird.

Yeah that trailer mostly killed my interest.

If find it intriguing.

I think it looks kind of bad, tbh. Like, I think I'm seeing a lot of Sonic Adventure you-can't-actually-control-what's-going-on moments.

Maybe Naka is the reason those games sucked.

EDIT: Also really hate the character design of the dude.

The gameplay and color palette are classic Sega and it definitely looks fun.

The music and cutscenes are terrible though.

I don't know why, but watching that trailer took me back to the Dreamcast days. Like, if it were the year 2000, and this game was announced for Dreamcast? I'd be ecstatic.

But it's 2011, and it's being announced for Wii and 3DS. So I'm not sure how I feel. I know I'm definitely intrigued, but I've got a biting sense of caution as well. Like, a voice is in my head telling me not to get *too* excited. I'm not sure why.

On second viewing, my interest pulls a Frankenstein. It's not what I was hoping and praying for when I saw the images (S&P2 clone) but it could go somewhere fresh, I guess. Despite the inevitably awful anime narrative, of course.

Agreed. I'm gonna go with a "meh".

I like the Sin & Punishment-esque vibe, but nothing really stood out. Oh well.

Aaaaaaaaand the Wii version game is complete, apparently.

"Rodea the Sky Soldier has been finished for awhile now," Naka said in an interview with Siliconera. "My part at Prope has been done. Now it’s up to Kadokawa Games to decide on the release strategy whether it will be come out for North America, Europe, and Japan.”

Whoa, I forgot I made this topic, or that this game existed.

If the Wii version is done then hopefully it will release here soon.

Didn't you hear, North America doesn't get Wii games any more, at least thats what it seems like to the rest of the world
