America 3DS Release Date and Price!!!

Finally got a price and release date!

March 27th 2010 and $250. You all think this is appropriate?

That's a sunday so I am fully prepared to enjoy that whole day for gaming. I just need to find another 200 for this since I already have $50 down on it.

A bit high, but for what you get, seems worth the price in the end.

Well, it's gonna release on a Sunday, so at least I won't have to call in "sick" to work, lol!

$250 is higher than I expected, but... hmm. Sounds like it might be worth it.

Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with that. If it were more I would have been upset but any less, well you're right. I fully expect the games to justify it too. I won't be complaining at all.

$250 is a lot for a handheld, I have no problem paying it because I'm a Nintendo fanatic, but for the average consumer, we'll see if they will be willing to shell out more than a Wii and 360, and slightly less than a PS3...

Nope, just launch window stuff....games that should release by June. Zelda: OoT, Kid Icarus, Street Fighter IV, Steel Diver, Nintendogs + Cats, Pilotwings and some others.

With Pokemon Black/White releasing three weeks before it, I'm happy that I'll have that to tide me over.

March will be a great month for Nintendo fans.

I believe Reggie said early on that every game shown at the event would be released before E3. Or maybe he said every playable game. Which bodes well for Kid Icarus either way, since it's playable at the show.

I went back and read a couple liveblogs and that seems to be what he was saying. I hope that's correct, because I may buy a 3DS earlier than expected if KI releases soon.

I sort of like the metallic blue, it was the first one we saw at E3... it seems like the default color. The black is sweet too, and probably more practical in the long run, people will notice it less on the train ect.

Well... looks like I'm gonna have to wait. Unless my dad is really excited to see this system like he was with the Wii.

If anything, I might ask for it from my aunt for Christmas this year.
