Hey, another Virtual Console game! Nice.

Also, SWEET. Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ is a great game. Can't believe they got that one "shrunk down" to fit on DSiWare. (what's the upper limit on DSiWare, anyway?) I bought the retail version a year or two ago (can't remember exactly when it came out) and thought it was a blast. Just crazy, over-the-top SHMUP action with a goofy sense of humor.

And now it's downloadable for just $8? Shooter fans should jump on this ASAP.

I kind of want to get Violin Paradise because it sounds so terrible.

A VC game, cool. But, man, Nintendo loves to pack the VC library with these SHMUPs.

You guys think we'll ever get Lufia 2?

OH MY GOD! DARIUS TWIN! Do I care about this game? No! But it was announced as coming, along with Lufia I + II! So surely it means those are close to release... right? RIGHT!?!

Super interested in Lilt Line, but also super busy getting ready to go to Canada so maybe I'll wait a bit and see what the impressions are.

I'm probably gonna get Lilt Line but I'll check out the demo anyways. Also interested in LRRHZBBQ, I wonder how much content there is compared to the retail version.

Q.F.T. I'm glad I have a hard copy, but may just download this one to keep on tap at all times. DSiWare is a beast. Its official.

Anand, is this a good Darius game? Should I get it? Does it have the "Warning, a huge whatever is approaching fast" in it?

@Pandareus

Yes! I owned this game back in the day. It's a bit short but still pretty fun. Huge bosses do approach.

Cool, a pretty good week and another VC release makes me very happy.

I wonder if Retro City Rampage will make it this year....I'm doubting it.

@VofEscaflowne
I care about Darius Twin. I really do.

@Pandareus
Yeah, here's where I have to share the embarrassing fact that I have only played Darius games in the arcade. And just the first two, at that. I am not what one would call 'knowledgeable' about the series. But those arcade games with three screens sure were cool. And I want this one. My VC backlog is sick.

The Warning might be in all of them. It SHOULD, anyway...

Now I have to go read up on Darius history, so I don't shame my name any further.

@anandxxx

I'm sure it's a great game but the moment I saw that, I could not think of anything else but Lufia. Sorry

Have you played the DS port of Lufia II? It's getting pretty good reviews.

Wait I just realized that lilt line is all miniscule letters. Nice one, Gaijin.

Nice to see SNES game released.

I tried the lilt line demo, and the game seems pretty simple and basic. The levels are short (1 to 2 minutes each), and while I'm sure the later levels get more difficult, the first few are too easy to get perfect the first or second time through.

Overall, I liked the game from what I've played, but I think it may be a little over priced at 500 points considering the iPhone version is $2.99.

@anandxxx

Yeah I have it and beat it. It's a good game but both are different enough (turn based battles vs real time, 2D vs 3D, story bits changed) to not really consider one the "better" version.

Might get lilt line.
