Hey, another Virtual Console game! Nice.

Also, SWEET. Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ is a great game. Can't believe they got that one "shrunk down" to fit on DSiWare. (what's the upper limit on DSiWare, anyway?) I bought the retail version a year or two ago (can't remember exactly when it came out) and thought it was a blast. Just crazy, over-the-top SHMUP action with a goofy sense of humor.

And now it's downloadable for just $8? Shooter fans should jump on this ASAP.

Q.F.T. I'm glad I have a hard copy, but may just download this one to keep on tap at all times. DSiWare is a beast. Its official.

Yeah, here's where I have to share the embarrassing fact that I have only played Darius games in the arcade. And just the first two, at that. I am not what one would call 'knowledgeable' about the series. But those arcade games with three screens sure were cool. And I want this one. My VC backlog is sick.

The Warning might be in all of them. It SHOULD, anyway...

Now I have to go read up on Darius history, so I don't shame my name any further.

I tried the lilt line demo, and the game seems pretty simple and basic. The levels are short (1 to 2 minutes each), and while I'm sure the later levels get more difficult, the first few are too easy to get perfect the first or second time through.

Overall, I liked the game from what I've played, but I think it may be a little over priced at 500 points considering the iPhone version is $2.99.

Yeah I have it and beat it. It's a good game but both are different enough (turn based battles vs real time, 2D vs 3D, story bits changed) to not really consider one the "better" version.
