Sonic should be at least decent, and soon we should get bit.trip FATE and Super Meat Boy. WiiWare's being good.

Hmm, good week. Definitely getting the G.G. Series game.

Also, this is probably the only version of Ivy the Kiwi? I'll get to try, as I have never seen any copy of it anywhere around here.

Datamine kind of reminds me of the arcade game Buster Bros.

I love Buster Bros. (Pang)! It was actually created by Mitchell (a company with close Nintendo ties), like PuzzLoop (the game that PopCap ripped off for Zuma), and they just released a follow-up game in Europe (it has some horrible title - Magical Michael's somethingorother?). I'm super-psyched for it!

*crickets*

Datamine seems like Buster Bros. crossed with Jetpac.

@Smerd
Your Thanksgiving seems to be coming around a little early there, Smerd! And you may want to not include the deserts this year, their arid nature typically isn't conducive to a celebratory family environment.

Two turkeys sounds good though.

I'm not really that into Sonic. If I was, I have a bunch of Sonic games I have yet to play in one of Sega's collections. Triple Jumping Sports has no appeal to me.

Ivy the Kiwi? mini is a lot of fun. I'm enjoying the game way more than I did the demo for some reason. It doesn't exactly play better, but I do know more what I'm doing, and so the game seems to play more smoothly. I highly encourage anyone who can't easily grab the full retail game to download this.

I don't have much to say about G.G. Series SUPER HERO OGRE except that it's hard as hell. Took me more than 4 tries to beat the first level's boss. The mechanics are predictably simple but solid. I do wish I had a block button, though.

From the video on the Nintendo Channel, that GG game intrigues me.

Ivy is pretty fun when you've got a nice flow going. It just sucks when your momentum grinds to a halt.

Block buttons and brakes are for weaklings.
