December 14, 2017 – Enter the Gungeon, Yooka-Layle, and Romancing SaGa 2 headline this week's massive list of Switch games (with a couple of 3DS games thrown in for good measure). See this week's entire list after the jump, or check out your favorite eShop today at noon eastern.

Enter the Gungeon
– The Enter the Gungeon game is a dungeon crawler that follows a band of misfits seeking to shoot, loot, dodge roll and table flip their way to personal absolution by reaching the legendary Gungeon’s ultimate treasure: the gun that can kill the past.

Yooka-Laylee – Explore huge, beautiful worlds, meet (and beat) an unforgettable cast of characters and horde a vault-load of shiny collectibles as buddy-duo Yooka (the green one) and Laylee (the wisecracking bat with the big nose). Embark on an epic adventure to thwart corporate creep Capital B and his devious scheme to absorb all the world’s books ... and convert them into pure profit!

Romancing SaGa 2 – Sit upon the throne of the Varennes Empire and control several generations of rulers in a valiant battle against the Seven Heroes. A dynamic freeform scenario system – a hallmark of the SaGa RPG series – enables you to take command of a variety of protagonists along the line of imperial succession and experience the history of a nation as it grows and changes based on your actions. The Romancing SaGa 2 game is available on Dec. 15.

The barrage of games just won't stop! I'm actually glad I have to wait a while longer for Enter the Gungeon.

A small update on last week's release of The Sexy Brutale:

Some sort of update is downloading right now, but I suppose it's not the patch mentioned in the tweet. Not sure what it is, though.

Jeez, the packed weeks continue.

I played Bleed and Hammerwatch on PC. Bleed is a 2D twin-stick shooter, fun while it lasts (an hour or two) but not especially notable. Hammerwatch is a top-down twin-stick dungeon crawler, also just sorta fine.

Brawlout is a budget Smash clone that looks pretty good, guest starring the guy from Guacamelee and the Hyper Light Drifter.

Embarrassment of riches.

I cannot say no to some of these. Why does Nintendo disrespect my wallet so??

Romancing Saga and Yooka Laylee I must buy on principle alone.

You could say that again!

I'm downloading Yooka-Laylee tonight, as well as Mutant Mudds Collection. The latter also includes a brand-new puzzle game, so you're getting three games for the price of one. THAT VALUE.

ACA: The Last Blade raises my eyebrow. I've only ever played the sequel.

I've also heard that Never Stop Sneakin' is a Metal Gear Solid spoof of sorts. No idea what the quality is, though. Trailer is hilarious:

@GameDadGrant
I think that the puzzle game is a reskin of Bomb Monkey. Which I enjoyed!

Never Stop Sneakin' looks pretty funny. And the mechanics are interesting.

Gungeon and Crawl are probably my top picks this week.
