So, with Spirit Tracks on Wii U.....is basically every single Zelda game playable on either 3DS or Wii U at this point? Four Swords Adventures is GCN-exclusive still, I suppose, but you can play a version of every other game on either 3DS or Wii U now, right?
It's insane that basically the entire series is playable between these two machines. I know I played a ton of Zelda games for the first time on 3DS.
Not really. It's the same game (aside from some translation differences and the music is more symphonic on the SNES version). Still a good game, but no reason to buy it twice.
I remember thinking it was cool back in 2006 when literally every Legend of Zelda game ever made up to that point was playable on Gamecube one way or another. Wii U is nearly there now!
Hmm. Thanks for the info man. Now I have a decision to make. Probably not worth buying twice...but...it's only $8! Will I be able to stop myself? History has proven that...no, I cannot.
Did you hear something about amiibos and SteamWorld Heist?
I gotta say you should totally look into and/or buy SteamWorld Heist. It's an amazing game. I've been playing a bit of the Wii U version and it seems to be a high-res (i.e. beautiful) version of an already beautiful 3DS game. The gameplay transfers just fine. I love hearing Steam Powered Giraffe some more too.
For you or anyone curious, there's plenty of NegativeWorld.org content to help you understand what it's about.
Yeah, it's good! It's very dated now, of course. But if you can put yourself in the mindset that you're playing a 16-bit RPG from the 1990's, then you'll have a swell time.
