The NES Remix pack are both games, right?

Also, I've never played Tropical Freeze, and feel like I owe it to Retro to give them money just because how awesome they are.

@cooliocuneo

Tropical Freeze was even better than DKCR. Play it! 3-1… <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

The NES Remix Pack is everything I believe. They released it on Wii U and 3DS but gave them different names for whatever reason. However both should be the same exact content.

Finally! Its about time Nintendo started lowering the prices on their games that have been out for years.

What is even better is the list of Europe's Nintendo selects, which is different than NA's list, will be hitting NA next month! These games are:

New Super Mario Bros U + New Super Luigi U (combo pack)
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Wii Party U
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
LEGO City Undercover
Nintendo Land

Finally, I will be able to play LEGO City Undercover and I will not have to pay the outlandish high prices that people are charging for the physical version.

I just briefly scanned the articles. I'm assuming these price drops are just for the eshop digital versions. I need to go back and find out if these price drops apply to physical versions. It really doesn't matter. I don't mind downloading, as long as the price is right, plus I still have about 800gb of free space on my 1tb harddrive.

Keep those prices dropping Nintendo, and I'll keep buying. I will finally buy Wind Waker HD as well.

I heard about this a couple of weeks ago and forgot to post about it. Whoops!

@DrFinkelstein NES Remix Pack on Wii U and Ultimate NES Remix on 3DS are not exactly the same, which is why they have different titles. The 3DS version features 12 less NES games that are in the Wii U version. There may be a few other different odds and ends as well.

@GameDadGrant Yeah, I was gonna mention that, too! I may now check out Yoshi's New Island and Mario Party Island Tour.

@Mop it up Oh, NES Remix Pack is actually the whole set of games from both NES Remix and NES Remix 2? I just assumed it was like the 3DS "pack" where it's missing a bunch of them. I may have to grab it, then...

Is this in stores only or on the eShop too?

@Secret_Tunnel
Sure looks like it's on the eshop too! I think I saw my gamepad advertising it.

Wow. 20 bucks for some of these games.... TF and 3D World are absolute STEALS at that price.

Wow. You think Retro's awesome and haven't played Tropical Freeze? Tropical Freeze is incredible, it's easily better than the already incredible Returns. The music alone takes it to a whole other level. That soundtrack is special. Your image of Retro will only go higher after Tropical Freeze. You absolutely need to get on that. It's easily one of the Wii U's top games.

Tropical Freeze is so good, and I didn't love the Wii game.

I think I let myself get over-hyped for Tropical Freeze (especially since I got it after most other people had already played through it), and I'm pretty sure that contributed in part to my preference for Returns over TF. TF definitely has the better villains, and it's nice to have a little extra variety with the additional Kong "power-ups" besides just Diddy (because that's essentially what they are unless you're playing multiplayer) even if they largely make Diddy obsolete, but I pretty much enjoyed everything else in Returns a little more than TF. Returns was such a breath of fresh air. TF was tweaks and occasional improvements on what was already great while also increasing the difficulty a lot and relying heavily on repetition for the bonus stuff.

I really feel like I should pick up Pikmin 3 now that the price on it has dropped (even though I still haven't beaten the other two games yet... I nearly beat the first one).

@gamewizard65 That's great news. That's definitely a price I'd finally get WW for. I might even want to check out Wii Party U.
