Why not sign up for a (free) account?

Are those "Nintendo Selects" supposed to be available on the eShop? Because....what? I'll totally download Super Mario All-Stars if true.

Other than that, gimme that Bravely Second demo...!

@GameDadGrant

I'm confused about that too...I guess it's worth checking.

Apparently Star Ghost was announced just a few weeks ago, which is probably why I never heard of it. I wonder why devs do that?! Can't help sales at all.

Sounds like a good game. And it is Wii U exclusive? For now?!

/EDIT WAIT IT HAS A DAVID WISE SOUNDTRACK? HOW DOES THIS SNEAK UNDER THE RADAR? I need to watch the trailer and hear the music.

@Zero I was actually going to post about it the other day, but when I post about indie eShop games, it doesn't seem to generate much interest.

I remember enjoying the Bravely Default demo for a few hours, I wonder if this Bravely Second demo is just as meaty.

How's that Keytari?

I don't know if Star Ghost is up my alley gameplay-wise but the names attached are stellar!

I chalked up about 7 hours in my Bravely Second demo. Unfortunately for Square Enix that showed me about all I wanted to see of the game; and I mean no disrespect, it looks amazing, but I know my limits.

@GameDadGrant Wouldn't it be great if they announced Super Mario All-Stars for the 3DS SNES Virtual Console, too?

@sirmastersephiroth
That's what I want. I want the improved graphics with save states. That list of Japanese SNES VC games had a Mario Collection in it, which I assume is Mario All-Stars. If so, hopefully it releases everywhere else.

@GameDadGrant The prices for the Wii U and 3DS games should be reflected on the eShop, but the Wii games mentioned are just retail discs.

@sirmastersephiroth

That would be amazing.

@Mop it up

That is a bummer, but not unexpected.

I downloaded and played Star Ghost, and it's really quite good! The music is, of course, what sold me (what I've heard is really quite good).

I probably wouldn't have bought the game had I known how it controlled, but I'm used to it now, and it works. It plays similar to how the Barrel Blast levels in DKCR work, pressing a repeatedly to stay in the air, with the shooting happening automatically. You can control the direction of fire, a bit, and to pull in items and such your way via gravity pull or something. So, you only use the left stick and the a button, and that's it. I would have much preferred a better control setup.

There are some level up like elements, but every power up runs out over time, so nothing's permanent. The only niggle, and it's huge for me since I stink at shooters, is that you start from the beginning when you die - and you generally only get one life. This stinks, as I bought it for the music, and I can't seem to advance enough to hear it all! It is nice that the level layout is changes each time, though, so the same level you're playing through after dying never seems quite the same.

Definitely worth it, I think. It's one of those games, too, that really pop on a plasma TV. Just need to find a level select code...

We are the exact same person. This is exactly how I reacted when my brother told me about this game.

@NoName
Thanks for the solid impressions. Hmmmmm do I want this or not....
