Why not sign up for a (free) account?

Thanks! But...no Fates demo? Darn. I really liked the Awakening one and I'm not really leaning towards getting Fates. Would've been nice to try it out.

Cool games on the Wii U VC today.

Ninja Gaiden II, one of the greatest NES classics! I found it hard as all fuck but man do I love love love the atmosphere and music.

Oh how I wish we could have games like this today with our current tech.

That's one of the better Wii U VC offerings lately. I don't believe NG3 or DD3 were ever available on the Wii VC.

Ninja Gaiden 3 was, but not Double Dragon 3.

@carlosrox

Sorry if you've (or others) have heard the story before, but I beat both Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden II on the same night -- back to back -- a few years ago. I can tell you with great confidence that Ninja Gaiden (1) is MUCH harder than Ninja Gaiden II. Please don't misunderstand me though; there is certified difficulty in NG2, but its a STEEP drop from 1 to 2. And with save states now? You're golden. (Give it another shot as an older, wiser videogame player. I have over a hand's worth of fingers to count of games that haunted me as a youngin' that I've put away in the last few years. NG, NG2, Castlevania, Simon's Quest, Batman..I'm sure there are more.)

EDIT- Has anyone PLAYED Aeternoblade? When we had that Kickstarter thread going, Aeternoblade was a game that I remember watching a few times, but obviously never bit. I don't even know why I'm asking, I have more than enough to play..
