Why not sign up for a (free) account?

Still no Cave Story, and the VC went AWOL this week. So...I still have 2,000 points. Maybe I'll download the LostWinds games.

Goddamit Gevo, you bust ghosts you don't slay them. They are already dead.

Lame update. Oh well...Mega Man 10 next week.

Can't wait for megaman 10!

Confirmed that we will not get cave story for atleast a month. Megaman comes out next week and we know nintendo will not put cave story up the week after that because they want strong megaman sales for their platform since it is a time exclusive.

Is megaman 9 worth playing? Should I just skip it and go for 10?

I didn't care for 9, so I'm not the right person to ask. That said, if you like Mega Man games, 9 is worth a play-through.

Ah, I never realize these things have been posted when I post them. I suck.

Boring as could be. Not even one VC game :(

Heh, no worries. I volunteered to do it a couple of months ago, and I just post it when I wake up and see the news. If I don't get it up before you post, you're more than welcome to do it for me and an admin will post it to the news page.

Pretty slow week. Aura Climber is probably worth the $2. Flipper sounds interesting in that PR description (3D puzzle platformer?).

@Smerd

Supposedly 10 is even harder than 9 on normal, except it does have an Easy mode that anyone should be able to finish.

WORST. UPDATE. EVER.

@GameDadGrant

For the first time in a while (in regards to the VC), I agree. Not even one VC game is lame.

@Smerd

I'd recommend both personally, but then again I'm a rabid old-school Mega Man whore (hell, Mega Man 5 is my favorite one, not exactly a popular one ).

Oh, wait. Ghost Slayer looks kind of cool. It supports Wii Motion Plus!

Right, I suppose there's a chance Ghostslayer isn't completely worthless, but the fact is there are a ton of games I've skipped that I know are good, so...

Hey, that Ghostslayer game looks kind of sweet. With MotionPlus support? I'm excited. If I see some positive impressions, I'm going to pick it up.

Does anyone know the relative quality of all those Nintendo-published 200-pt DSiWare games? Like the Domo stuff? Are they worth buying?

IGN said that only one Domo was decent. (I didn't bother trying)

I have Touch Solitaire and I like it a lot, but it's just Spider & Klondike, nothing fancy. I may try Spotto eventually since I didn't try Birds & Beans. I have a couple Electroplanktons too.
Recent capsule reviews for DSiWare (sorry, IGN is pretty much where I search for reviews)

I think Bird and Beans is just the Pyoro mini-game from WarioWare, if you have that.

Ooo, that link says Spotto is Intelligent Systems, and so is Link'n'Launch, which got a Love It. Cool. I didn't even know IGN had these kinds of reviews.

I read somewhere else that Hardhat Domo was pretty good.

Yeah I here ya..

So for Megaman...@Panda: How tough is tough? Like are we talking MegaMan 1 tough (for 9) or MegaMan 2/3 (my favourite other then Mega Man X) tough? I think I've played 1 till that stupid yellow monster thing..I have beaten 2,3,4 and played a bit of 5.. although it's been ages. Maybe I should boot up the GCN collection again... Hmmm.. I have the X Collection as well. But I also couldn't resist getting MM2 for VC for true oldschool control goodness..

@Dynablade... I Had fun with a few megamans for sure... so I am debating but I am hearing that 9 is hard. But it's difficult to tell the difference between "Hard because I'm not used to old school and now I suck" or "Hard like MM1/Ninja Gaiden" Maybe I'm wimping out a bit hehe..
