YO-KAI WATCH
– The Japanese sensation is here! Hundreds of sometimes spooky, sometimes cute and usually mischievous Yo-kai secretly inhabit our world. From flaming feline Yo-kai to three-headed bosses, they’re hiding everywhere! In the YO-KAI WATCH game, discover these secret tricksters to battle and befriend them. Turn them into a team on your Yo-kai Watch and take down troublemaking Yo-kai to help people in need. You can even try before you buy with the free demo in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS.

Electronic Super Joy
– Acclaimed by critics, adored for its style and praised for its spot-on platforming, the original Electronic Super Joy game is legendary. Now you can play it on the Wii U console! Run, jump, smash and fly your way through quirky levels, with low gravity, world rotation, giant monsters and swarming missiles.

Virtual Console on Nintendo 3DS

RODEA THE SKY SOLDIER....!!!!

HHHHHNNNGGG!!!

And we finally get Yo-Kai Watch! That demo was awesome. Looking forward to jumping into this one!

Also, ooh neat. A 3DS VC game. Can't remember the last time we got one of those. Maybe it was Bionic Commando: Elite Forces?

Oh it's that Rodea game I am still extremely confused by.

How much is the super-expensive collector's edition of Rodea that I reserved? I can't remember!

@Guillaume

Stinger is like..one of Anand's favorite games, legit. I don't know how thats "bad news" territory.

FUCK YES, STINGER!

I wish it were on the Wii U, but STINGERRRR!!

[/Heartfelt&Genuine]

@Guillaume@GameDadGrant
I have good news for both of you. (It's pretty much the same news, just cast in a new perspective...)

It's fucking STINGER. And flying out of the decaying husk of Konami, no less! Who the hell expected that?!

@Mr_Mustache
Super-legit. It shines brightest in co-op, but, either way, you still get to shoot a giant slice of watermelon that spits seeds at you.

@Anand

It IS on the Wii U. Not 3DS. Check my link!

@Guillaume
Man, could this day get any better?!

Seriously, people. Grab this game and enjoy it with a friend/loved one. After all, it's Stinger.

Fine, I'll give you a little more information. It's a kickass NES-exclusive Twinbee co-op shoot-em-up with ridiculous enemies, classic Konami chiptunes, a super-bright color palette, and a super-fun power-up system. It shifts perspectives between the standard (for Twinbee) Xevious-esque forward-scrolling and Gradius-esque (or Parodius-esque, more like) side-scrolling.

I mean, I don't want to oversell it, or anything... but it just might be the best game ever made.

Seriously, my glasses may be slightly nostalgia-tinged, but it is definitely worth a fiver.
