Why not sign up for a (free) account?

The Animal Crossing game is a full retail game? Huh.

I'm not a big fan of the F2P stuff, but I'm liking that little snippet of Project Treasure. Scavening for riches inside old pyramids, finding hidden passageways and slicing ghouls? I could totally get into that. Maybe. I'll be keeping an eye on that game in the hopes that it's good.

EDIT: Also -- Chibi-Indiana-Robo-Kawase! Do want.

Thanks for putting this all together!

@sirmastersephiroth

I didn't expect that. Unless there's something we're missing.

Whoa is it just me or does Project Treasure look (at least visually) surprisingly good, especially for a FREE game???

I really need to go back and play FE: Awakening. It always loses me in the tutorial.

@DrFinkelstein

Perhaps what we're missing is that this game will connect to the (hopefully to be announced at E3) Animal Crossing for Wii U and that a retail version will make it more accessible or something. Maybe Hisashi Nogami's response in an Engadget Splatoon interview is a hint? Probably not, but hope is hope.

Engadget: So my very last question then is: When are we going to see Animal Crossing on Wii U?

Hisashi Nogami: Well, that's difficult for me to answer at the moment! Yup. That's pretty much all we can say.

What I will say is that you may have seen an announcement recently about an Animal Crossing product coming out on the 3DS... I can tack that on to the end of my response.

@carlosrox
I think it looks pretty cool too, but I sorta wish it was just a normal game, and not free to play. I'm highly skeptical for the F2P model and just prefer to buy my games up front.

It's nice to see Chibi-Robo again. I really liked the GCN game. I never tried Park Patrol or Photo Finder, but this looks pretty intriguing.

And lets be honest, that Amiibo looks pretty great too.

Weren't the Chibi-Robo games more like 3D exploration games before? This new sidescroller doesn't look terribly interesting.

Nintendo UK just Tweeted that Chibi-Robo Zip Lash! is coming in November.
And Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure next week, I think!

There must be so much to announce at E3 that they are just tossing out these announcements like fish food before hand. Promising...
