There's less than an average work day in hours left before Splatoon hits the eShop. My copy is coming in the mail tomorrow. So before you dive in, splatting up the place, give this show a listen! Hey! Listen!

Welcome to Part 2 (more or less) of the big recording session that Paul (Ploot), Joe (Ninsage), and Stephen (DrFinkelstein) had which started with Episode 77. Now that they've got all their Now Playing out of the way, it's time for them to get down to business.

In this episode the trio discusses the Splatoon Global Testfire which happened throughout this past month. After that they spend a majority of the show discussing the entire History of E3! These dudes hop in a DeLorean and go back in time starting with the very first E3 and bringing us back to the present day. What were the big games being discussed? What were the promotional strategies? They tackle it all!

The next episode will be a standard episode where with an E3 focus as we gear up for the big week coming in the middle of June. The week of E3 we'll be recording a plethora of E3 2015-related content featuring an unprecedented number of guest speakers. The collective voice of Negative World will be heard! DrFinkelstein hopes to get all of this goodness out in June, as close to the recording period as possible. Cross you fingers! (or bribe with amiibos)

The show's theme music is from Negative World site owner and operator, Zero.

I'm ashamed to admit I'm really behind and have missed the past 3 or 4 episodes, but I've got tons of work to do this weekend so I'm going to catch up!

We're happy you're listening, even if releases lately have been consistent and folks fall behind. It's not like these things ever are short, lol. Hopefully you enjoy the content and the general enthusiasm!

This episode was the start of E3-related topics and coverage with the History of E3 from the Nintendo perspective.
Next week we'll be recording with Jargon and E3 will be a focus again in a more current fashion.
Then there's tons of E3 2015 action to be had!

I forgive you. =D Thanks for listening, dude. Make sure to awkwardly bump these threads when you get around to listening to the corresponding episode

I'm about halfway through this one. Enjoying the trip down memory lane! Panasonic Q, the Capcom 5, it's funny how these things are lost to time. It's also interesting to see how my interest in games has ebbed and flowed. The first E3 I paid attention to was 1997 and pretty consistently I would lose interest at the end of the lifecycle of Nintendo's console and there'd be an E3 I didn't watch or pay attention to. Since the Wii though, Nintendo has kept my attention. Probably also has to do with getting more into handheld stuff with the DS.

Anyway, here's to another 20 years!

@Jargon

Great points about just things being forgotten in time. Nintendo has been inconsistent with E3s and it's interesting how the highs and lows stay or leave us.

Glad you're enjoying the show! You're on the next one in two days! WOO! I'll get something to you tonight or tomorrow outline-wise. E3 will be one of the topics in some fashion.
