So how does this work exactly? I understand the "pay what you want" but am I understanding this correctly, that if I pay $10, I get to download all of the games I want? Assuming the "'pay more than the average" stays under $10
10$ or more you get Stealth Inc 2 and SteamWorld Dig. Pay more than the average to gain access to The Fall, OlliOlli and Moon Chronicles, plus whatever extra games they add in later. This is the moment you pay so even if the average goes higher than what you paid at the moment you got them, you'll still get the extra games that they add in later.
My Wii U NNID's country is set to US, so I have no issues with that. Still, I won't be able to download the codes to my 3DS, since I set my NNID region there to Brazil. Also, I don't have an international credit card, so I gotta find a friend of mine who does, if I want to get these games.
By the way, I'm accepting Guacamelee, if anyone has a code to spare.
There's some speculation that the added games will be from a Nindie tab that showed up on the Wii U eshop. It includes all the current games plus:
Sportsball Shantae and the Pirate's Curse Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition Mighty Switch Force! 2 Ultratron Lone Survivor The Swapper Thomas Was Alone Mutant Mudds Deluxe
Assuming Shantae is too new to show up on there, I've got my fingers crossed for Mutant Mudds since I already have all the others I've heard of on Steam (except Mighty Switch Force! 2, which I would take but wouldn't be too excited about it)
Edit: Just checked and there's a Nindie section for the 3DS eShop too, which, in addition to the already bundled games and listed above, theres's:
Retro City Rampage DX Titan Attacks! Xeodrifter Mutant Mudds ATV Wild Ride 3D Bomb Monkey
So, I'm not gonna bore you all with the details, but, things have been stressful lately -- especially financially. So much so that spending $10 on games, even an AWESOME deal on games, is just not responsible (hence my post earlier in this thread). But, a friend of mine "couldn't let me miss out on this deal"...
I know it's "just" 10 bucks and I know it's "just" video games, but, acts of kindness like this really mean more than the sum of their parts, y'know? Made me a little misty eyed to be perfectly honest. The gifter is not a NW member, but, I wanted to post about his generosity here in an attempt to give him some kind of recognition on a karmic level. =)
He is working on a pretty awesome indie game with a subtle anti-bullying message. I'll be sure to post about that when he finishes it sometime in, I dunno, 2019. =)
