Biggest Blowout: Chrono Trigger lived up to its lofty status by taking down Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow without needing to break a sweat.

Lowest Seed Standing: The Raccoon City region has gone largely to plan, with the sixth seeded Shovel Knight being the lowest surviving seed. Next up is one of its biggest influences in Mega Man 2.

Sad to see Street Fighter II: TURBO get knocked out. But this community is pretty down on fighting games, so I suppose this wasn't an unexpected outcome.

It was also up against a practically flawless game (ok that stupid boss where you need bombs might be considered a flaw). I don't think losing to MM2 is an indictment.
