I bought AVGN Adventures as it released today. Kind of encompasses the kind of the stuff that made NES games oftentimes pure evil to play. Honestly if the game controlled a little tighter it'd probably be a very easy recommend. But at 10 bucks it isn't a hard recommendation either.

I agree. The game is fun but frustrating. The checkpoints are generally pretty close together though so it's not too bad. I do enjoy the game's humor. I wouldn't recommend it if you're offended by excessive profanity or the level based on Custer's Revenge and other similar Atari 2600 games though.

@TriforceBun

It can give you those feeling sometimes. The game has some crazy enemy patterns in some sections.

@DeputyVanHalen

Yeah if you are put off by lots of swearing and nudity in some sections you probably won't like it that much. And yeah I agree the check points do mitigate some of the harder stuff.

@r_hjort Yep, took me about 11 hours to finish the story and extra worlds, get all the crowns, and finish all the Score Attack and Time Attack stages. Solid little puzzle platformer for five bucks.

@r_hjort @nate38

I beat the main game in full this morning. Picked it up Thursday evening but I don't know how many hours that was.

Hoping to dive into the extra shortly.
