    The Crest/Quest games are good fun. I have the original GB one on 3DS VC (although I got a little lost/stuck and haven't beaten it), while I borrowed the SNES game from my brother and had a fun evening marathoning that one. I'd maybe compare it to Castlevania 4 a bit, although probably a little shorter and with slightly more exploration. It's a solid SNES action title for sure.

    To be honest, I think that whole spin-off series is way better than Ghouls & Ghosts.

    I think I'm going to get Gargoyle's Quest II soon and play through that, then Demon's Crest. I enjoyed the original, so I want to try the second. I always wanted to when I was a kid.

    Shorter? No way. You know there are at least 4 endings?

    I did not know that. It might behoove me to nab this on the VC after all.

    What are the chances that Nintendo would put this up as a Club Nintendo freebie at some point? I need something to spend those coins on...

    Get Demon's Crest. Not only is it a very fun game but it is one of the best looking and sounding games for the SNES.

    Damn, what a great week. I kind of wish that they had spread this stuff out more.

    @Anand

    Same.

    @TriforceBun

    Club Nintendo? Chances are pretty much nil. But Capcom HAS put their VC games on sale before, so I guess you could wait for that. Demon's Crest is worth the money. If you've "marathoned it one evening", you probably haven't seen a third of the game!

    I think you'll love it.

    @Guillaume

    Yea, and it hasn't been regular enough to assume it will eventually happen for Demon's Crest. I think there's been like 3 total sales involving Mega Man games and not all of them have been on sale.
