    So I haven't played either DKCR game, should I go for the 3DS game or TF.

    Tropical Freeze, for sure. DKCR was great at the time, but TF is more of the same and of higher quality. Plus David Wise music.

    You honestly can't go wrong either way.

    That said, you get a deeper discount with Tropical Freeze, so I recommend getting that. If you want to get Returns 3D sometime down the line, you can, and it won't cost you quite as much as it would have if you had to buy Tropical Freeze at full price.

    Tropical Freeze gets my vote, but both are very good games. I think TF was to Returns what DKC2 was to 1, if that makes sense.

    @pokepal148 I played Returns 3D at the store and was pretty disappointed. It was much visually less clear than the Wii version and the framerate was halved from the original (and lower at times). The controls didn't feel very snappy either, which I think could've been a result of the switch from 60fps to 30. Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks though.

    @Smerd

    Did you get it!?

    --And any confirmation of that Falling Skies dropping? Hmm.
    I spent an Old Hickory on Hyrule Warriors DLC.
