September 25, 2014 Another slow week this week, but one big game stands apart from them all: Hyrule Warriors launches on Wii U tonight at midnight eastern. Other than that, there's not much "new" here, but be sure to see all of this week's updates on your favorite digital storefront at noon eastern today.
Hyrule Warriors Nintendo, $59.99 (available September 26)
EDIT: Weird. My screenshot stopped showing up in Miiverse everywhere.
So, after having played through the first couple of worlds of Art of Balance I can tell you guys that
- The game is friggin' gorgeous because Shin'en - The soundtrack is the same as it's always been (which I'm kind of happy about actually) - There seems to be a slightly increased friction and sense of weight to the pieces - The 200 levels seem to be identical to those in the 3DS game - There aren't any people playing online yet
Overall I'm happy about my purchase so far, and especially so since I got a discount for owning the 3DS outing, but I'm disappointed in the recycled levels. It's more out of principle than anything else, 'cause it's not like I remember ever single strategy to every puzzle or even recognize them without looking at my 3DS, but nevertheless.
EDIT: @ludist210 Looked into it a little bit and it seems pretty neat so I might consider it sometime down the line.
