September 25, 2014 – Another slow week this week, but one big game stands apart from them all: Hyrule Warriors launches on Wii U tonight at midnight eastern. Other than that, there's not much "new" here, but be sure to see all of this week's updates on your favorite digital storefront at noon eastern today.

Here in PAL land we're getting Art of Balance for Wii U today. I'm installing it right now!
We also get a bunch of other stuff, like Nobunaga's Ambition for the SNES. Seems like a really cool strategy game, but looks quite complicated. Anyone ever try it or know anything about it?
EDIT: Weird. My screenshot stopped showing up in Miiverse everywhere.
So, after having played through the first couple of worlds of Art of Balance I can tell you guys that
- The game is friggin' gorgeous because Shin'en - The soundtrack is the same as it's always been (which I'm kind of happy about actually) - There seems to be a slightly increased friction and sense of weight to the pieces - The 200 levels seem to be identical to those in the 3DS game - There aren't any people playing online yet
Overall I'm happy about my purchase so far, and especially so since I got a discount for owning the 3DS outing, but I'm disappointed in the recycled levels. It's more out of principle than anything else, 'cause it's not like I remember ever single strategy to every puzzle or even recognize them without looking at my 3DS, but nevertheless.
EDIT: @ludist210 Looked into it a little bit and it seems pretty neat so I might consider it sometime down the line.
Tropical Freeze is my favorite Wii U game, and was a steal when it launched at 50 bucks. If you're a platformer fan at all, do not miss this outstanding game for 30 dollars!
Also, Pikmin 3 for 40 is a good deal too, if you still don't have it after the MK8 thing.
@carlosrox It was released here in Europe a few hours ago. If you haven't played the 3DS version much you're gonna love this. Well, you probably would anyway, but you won't mind the recycled levels.
Wait, wait, wait. Castlevania: Circle of the Moon is coming out for the Wii U VC?!?!? I thought they were starting with Aria. This is great news! I know what else I'm playing for Shocktoberfest!
