- Devil Survivor Overclocked is more like a tactical RPG. Grid-based movement like Fire Emblem, etc. - Soul Hackers is more like a traditional SMT game: move around in first person view, random encounters, turn-based combat.
Yea, those games have been on sale for a couple of weeks now and unfortunately, if you did not bite, its too late, they are no longer on sale. Though, I'm sure given enough time, they'll be on sale again in the future.
Now, Yumi's Odd Odyssey is on sale for $19.99, actually I believe that is the new price from here on out. It used to be $29.99. Has anyone played this game, is it any good and most importantly, is it fun?
Picked up SteamWorld Dig because I was curious about it before, and $4.49 was too good a deal to pass up. I'm about an hour in, and I like it so far. It's very Metroid-esque, and the art style is nice.
Sadly, that's all I know. Also: it is a game originally released on the Saturn, so it's a little bit more dated than more recent SMT releases. And even SMT 4, the latest title in the series, had its share of weird design issues and some player-unfriendliness.
