It's Memorial Day Weekend to the American listeners and what shall they do with all that free time? Why listen to a 3-hour episode of the Negative World Podcast of course! (International listeners are encouraged to as well!)

Stephen (DrFinkelstein) and Joe (Ninsage) sit down with Peter (Octorockin) and Tom (Gamewizard65) for tons of in-depth discussions packed into one little file.

The guys start with a thorough 'Now Playing' and discover that Peter and Tom have been playing a lot of the same games lately. They discuss, Child of Light, Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, League of Legends, Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Kirby's Dream Collection, The Walking Dead: Season 2: Episode 3, and a little 3DS eShop title called Tappingo.

Be weary of spoilery discussions peppered throughout that segment, particularly for The Walking Dead: Season 2: Episode 3. You'll find this discussion between 01:14:30 through 01:39:15. (hour:minute:second). This segment is followed by a new 'What Do You Fink?' installment which has a bonus fourth question!

In the final hour the gang spends their time discussing Nintendo's apparent image problem and their lower sales. Each member of the show brings a unique perspective of why and what works or doesn't work with Nintendo's current game plan. The conversation evolves (or devolves) into a little bit about Nintendo's marketing and even into 'It's not you, It's me' territory. I'm quite eager to hear comments in the thread over this discussion.

The break music is from Child of Light and frankly I'm in love with it. The soundtrack is truly awesome! If the discussion on the game doesn't sway you, at least listen to the soundtrack. Zero's theme music makes an appearance for the gazillionth time now.

Please comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, hosts, etc. on Negative World! You can also reach us through Facebook or Twitter. We would really appreciate the feedback. It's the best way for us to know what makes our listeners happy and we'd love to respond to some things on the next episode.

Finkster, can you post the minute marks of when you discuss Walking Dead? I'm waiting for all episodes to be released before I play it, and I don't want anything spoiled. Thanks!

Happy to!

01:14:30 through 01:39:15 is the Walking Dead discussion. I'll post it above too. Before it is Kirby's Dream Collection and after is Tappingo.

Just to ensure it's clear, the timecodes are in hour:minute:second.

Good show.

I agree about the use of the Wablet. It can and should be utilized more. Pikmin 3 and LEGO City Undercover were excellent examples of how it can successfully be used.

And their advertising team needs to do some major work to help sell more Wii Us. They just haven't been successful about promoting it.

Thanks Lou! There was no editing issues eh? I'm about to delete the work-files and there's no going back after that...

I attribute the use of the Wablet (official name?) to the sole reason I was so into Pikmin. Wiimote and Nunchuk was grand and then having a map to keep me oriented, it was just an amazing combo. LEGO City Undercover had cool uses as well as an epic map. I appreciated every touch (literally and otherwise).

Listened to the Now Playing and What Do You Fink portions. Good stuff!

Nathalie loved Child of Light and everyone seems to have pretty good feelings about it, so I guess I'd better give it a try myself sometime soon.

Man, I've been training an endless number of new employees at work over the last several weeks and my entire podcast routine is in shambles. I still have to listen to this and the latest Euphonic podcast. I sincerely hope to get both of them listened to before I'm gone on Friday for 2 weeks. Is it weird to feel a bit guilty not having listened to them yet? Cause I do!

@Koovaps

Don't feel guilty! (but I'm glad you miss it!)

Though not to exacerbate your issue... I just posted the newest podcast... Negative World Podcast 064 - Mario Kart Ate My Space and Time!!! But! There will be a slightly longer wait between this and the next one as we can't record until the Sunday after E3. So you have time to catch up!
