Still no Shovel Knight, although they've submitted their final version for release so it shouldn't be too long. So annoying though that their "few week" delay of the game is turning into a two month delay. I understand though, and I'm sure they've been through hell with it. I just wanna play it!
I'm all over Scram Kitty this week. I've just been itching for a shooter like this for a while, ever since playing Sub-Terrania in the PAX East retro room.
Guess I'll also check out MOON Chronicles - I (shamefully) never finished this game on DS. Maybe I'll have better luck with this "remake" since it's likely I won't get bored and quit halfway through. It's being broken up into smaller chunks, so if I play just a chunk at a time, I should be able to see it to completion.
Wait, 2.99 for MM4? Are all the GB MM games this cheap right now? I was waiting for my birthday later this week (and hopefully an eShop card) to nab them, but is this a timed discount or what?
damn, I'll crush 1/4 of the game in a single play-through!
and wow, that will be damn expensive @ $9 an episode! $36 for Season 1? Not sure if this is gonna go over well... I mean you can get MOON used for like $5...
Well, well, look who finally stumbles onto the eShop. I would have paid full price for a digital copy of Wii Party U day one, but no, Nintendo decided to do a stupid physical bundle only. Well, I bought the bundle, but at $20 on boxing day. Hope Nintendo learned their lesson.
Well it is just in time for the Mario Kart 8 promotion. Kind of like how all of the games from NES Remix 2 were added to the Virtual Console week by week before it launched...
Ugh, Mega Man IV's slowdown seems even worse than Mega Man III! Also not sure how I feel about the charge shot recoil. I like the idea of giving the charge shot a downside, since it's kind of cheese, but the awkward shift a few pixels back and into a jumping state (and thus unable to jump) is kind of a janky way to do it. This game also got the crappier half of Mega Man 4's robot masters. Toad Man!
@GameDadGrant Well I just downloaded... and dug my CPP XL out of storage... man... I'm going to play an FPS on the Nintendo 3DS, after all this time it's hard to believe. FINALLY!
Toad Man does kinda suck, but the other three are awesome. I love the themes to all their stages...Pharoah Man's in particular. At least we don't have stupid Dust Man this time around!
This is one of the best Mega Man games ever, IMO. It even adds in some cool stuff that later ends up being standard for the series going forward.
Moon Chronicles intrigues me. I bought the original Moon, but gave up on it. This new installment seems very Metroid Prime Hunters-ish. Does anyone know if it plays like Hunters? I really liked that game (for its multiplayer anyway), and thought it controlled very well.
