That sounds pretty good, but I'm still wondering how the heck you dash in the game. The way I like playing MMX is setting dash to one of the shoulder buttons, and I'm pretty much doing it constantly throughout the entire game. I can't imagine a setup with two buttons that'd make it comfortable to dash jump off walls and such...
But as I said in the other thread, the level design is tweaked so you don't have to dash all that often. I'm like you, where I'm pretty much always dashing in the X games (and the Mega Man Zero games), but I don't recall feeling like I missed the shoulder-button dash from the SNES classic.
Guess we'll see if that feeling still holds up.
EDIT: You don't have to dash off of a wall in this game, IIRC.
I'm not sure to recommend it to you. On one hand, you're obviously a super-fan of the SNES game, so you apparently really like the material. But on the other, this isn't quite the same thing so you might be put off by the differences.
