I will wait for you always, my dear Shovel Knight. Until then, I'm going to cheat on you with Child of Light. How long? A few weeks. I don't know. Maybe longer. I'll make you wait until Q3 2014 if I feel like it. How does it feel, Shovel Knight? How does it feel?!!
I had a similar thought and then I remembered how like half the games in the original NES Remix just aren't fun to play and I'd rather just jump right into the (probably?) superior sequel.
Its been WAY more than 4-5 tries for me, haha. My most successful run, I cleared the final stage of Hammer Bros., but jumped after the mushroom into a pit and we didn't meet up. It was TERRIBLE.
That is rough. Yea it probably took me 15+ tries total, but if you sit down to do it and don't give up after a couple tries like I had been doing before, it makes it easier because you know exactly what to expect in each segment. The key for me was making sure I didn't lose any lives rushing through the easier early parts.
Yes, I can't tell you how much hair I wanted to pull out and subsequently eat when I fall in the lava on 1-4. Are you freakin' kidding me? Then I'd go on a 35 stage run without dying again, and go down on Round 42 or something. TRASH.
I'll get it done tonight. Hopefully. (And move right on to NES-R2!)
