I'm running out the door to work so no time for much analysis, but the big surprise I'd say is that Mario and Metroid are both out of the tournament already! Zelda has to be the odds on favorite with two entries in the semifinals, but anything can happen.

Final Four will be put up in the next couple of days.

If everyone's so upset, then who voted for Ocarina of Time? Are people complaining about how much people like it, and then voting for it anyway? Voting for it because nothing else stands a chance?

I think reactions are a intentionally hyperbolic. Just little jokes or exaggerations. At least, that's how it is for me whenever I "complain" about the results of this tournament and survivor polls.

Oh I'd definitely have voted for Xenoblade over Ocarina of Time.

In fact, Ocarina of Time is my least favorite of the final 8. Definitely voting against it in the final, although it will win anyway.

Hey, I like them equally, but Ocarina wins too much. At least i'm not voting for Mario over it.

EDIT: It's also the only game I would vote for over it.
