Agreed

Chrono Trigger, Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past are all a 10 in my eyes, whereas I only kind of like Melee.

Pretty bummed about Zelda 1 and Super Metroid both being eliminated. Between this poll and the SNES one, you guys aren't really feeling it with Super Metroid, huh?

Zelda 1 losing is sad, especially to a game that I consider great but not in the same echelon. But it was pretty inevitable it was going to lose pretty soon since lots of people seem to think the franchise has passed it by. As someone who thinks its glory has never been matched, that's disappointing but so it goes.

I would've picked Zelda(1) over 4 other games in the Elite Eight. Just the way stuff gets lined up sometimes.

Clearly Super Metroid is a beloved game but when put up against certain other titles it just isn't enough I guess.

I guess any game that doesn't win it all is considered trash now? This is the best of the best right here, any game has to be pretty amazing to make it this far. Super Metroid certainly qualifies for that, one of the best games of all time, and it's a shame there aren't more games like it. But, I've played Melee more, it's been a tonne of fun, and it may still be my fave game of all time, so I had to vote it.

Sad to see Schlock-arina of Time advance, otherwise these results are okay.

I think it's almost funny how upset some may potentially be at this. I for one am glad just to see some variety in here. Hell, two Zelda games made it. Psyched Melee and Chrono Trigger stand a chance. Both are amazin.
