Closest matchup: It's no surprise that Super Mario Bros. 3 and its successor Super Mario World went neck and neck at the polls. Ultimately, the cape beat out the raccoon suit, as the SNES title advanced by a mere two votes.

Biggest Blowout: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island had no answer for the groundbreaking Super Mario 64, managing only two votes.

Lowest Seed Standing: Super Mario World has pulled two upsets to remains standing as a 5 seed, a stunning turn of events that no one, not even KrisWright, could have foreseen.

I really disagree with that assessment, but it does make the next bracket interesting for me - the 2D masterpiece I don't have strong feelings about against the 3D masterpiece I don't have strong feelings about.

Also, I think we've got a chance to right a wrong here and put Galaxy over Ocarina. I don't expect it to happen, but it's gonna be a good match!

On the bright side, we're now one round away from me voting against OoT if SMW can pull through. Both of these matchups are just killer though, wouldn't feel bad about any outcome.
