A1. Tough decision. FFVI will likely get slaughtered, so I voted for it to keep it interesting.
A2. Easy choice. I'm not a Majora's Mask fan.

B1. World expanded on everything 3 did and made it better. Plus you could save, so it was a little more accessible.
B2. Another tough one...but Super Mario 64 for me here.

Oh yea, the point about saving is a huge one. Definitely a reason I spent so much more time with SMW as a kid than I did with SMB3

Yeah, plus the world felt more connected and you could replay old levels. There was a lot more I liked about World than I did about 3 (which in no way makes 3 a bad game).

Final Fantasy over Zelda, Zelda over Mario.
Speedruns last year let me know how much SMB3 can get under my skin, and I currently have Yoshi's Island buried here. Interestingly, I'm not super-nuts about Mario 64 either. Slide SMB3 on down here so we can have that battle next week instead.

Nothing too tough for me here. Just gotta go with OoT, was and still is a great game. Didn't like Majora's Mask, though Mario Galaxy would beat a lot of games. SMB3 and SMW are close, but I nudged out SMB3 for being first and having a bit more variety and challenge. I really like Yoshi's Island but Super Mario 64 is another one of those games that just can't be topped.

First two games are flawless masterpieces.
World is fantastic and SMB3 is a bore.
I don't like either of the last two. World 2 is an overrated sequel with no charm for me at all and Super Mario 64 has aged worse than Metroid 1 and THAT is saying something. Ultimately though, World 2 is more polished and better designed, but I had more fun with 64 back in the day.
