January 9, 2014 – It's the second week of Nintendo Downloads for 2014, and it's the second week in 2014 that's light on quantity. The Wii U get a classic SHMUP on the Virtual Console and a new eShop game, and the 3DS gets a new Chibi-Robo! game along with a demo for it and Jump Trials Supreme. There's a few sales going on in the 3DS eShop as well. Be sure to see all of this week's updates in your favorite digital storefront today at noon eastern.

I can understand being willing to buy it despite having other means to play it. I can't really understand being so anxious to get your hands on it again.
Played the Chibi Robo demo. It's fun but not sure if I really want this right now. Capturing photos is really a challenge in itself due to the 3DS camera being total shit and there being no flash. Even rooms which are lit fine makes it hard to capture objects which you think are well it but aren't showing up clearly enough on the camera unless it's near direct sunlight. I just captured a pic off of my computer screen for the last image cause I didn't feel like getting out a flashlight to properly light up a wall outlet
Granted the preview video at the end of the demo shows a lot more content which is probably more exciting than snapping pictures but I'll either wait for a price drop or for it to go up on Club Nintendo for now.
Is Chibi-Robo the kind of game that would show up as a Club Nintendo reward? I wouldn't assume so, but they've put up other "digital only" games before...still, seems "risky" holding out for that.
Knowing that Yumi's Odd Odyssey is coming sometime this month takes some of the disappointment out of not finding the Mega Man GB games here every week for the past six months and counting...
I get so frustrated when VC games come out in one territory and not another. North Americans had to wait six months for the Wario Land games on 3DS versus Europe, and maybe upwards of a year for Kirby's Dream Land 2? And now we're waiting for A Link to the Past and SMB3 for some reason, when both came out in Europe last month. I understand localization delays, but VC game delays are ridiculous.
