January 2, 2014 - This week's Nintendo download is...light on content. There is just one new Virtual Console game on Wii U, which is Capcom's Mega Man X2. The 3DS just gets a demo for Bravely Default. There's still a sale on all Atlus titles in the 3DS eShop as well. There's sure to be other updates, so check out your favorite digital storefront today at noon eastern.

It is an upres of a Wii game, isn't it?

I believe so. I meant that I wanted more, and SE's comments on the game could be seen as misleading.

Completed the demo 100% which also includes fully rebuilding the village. Playtime clocked in at 13:54 Crazy for a demo. I also played on hard so I did have some grinding to do here and there but nothing I didn't enjoy. The game is incredibly fun and mastering new jobs is really fun. Love the way equipment is handled. I just realized at the end of the demo that I could have dual wielded staves on my mages if I wanted to for extra damage

Played some more of the demo. I'm getting the hang of it, and seems like it could be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I hardly get ANY street passes, so completing the village will probably be impossible. 10 hrs to clear a roadblock? F that.

I don't know if it's available at the beginning or soon after but if you talk to the NPC above the inn (I assume only during daytime), he'll have someone else move in your village. This cuts back the time in half. Also, you can leave your 3DS in sleep mode while the game is running and time still goes on. I got the entire village rebuilt easily enough this way.

Interesting scam tactic, @VofEscaflowne. I shall use it to my advantage as well!

Just don't be intimidated by the quest with the NPC saying that you can't beat the boss with weapons from town. It's definitely doable with the right tactics, especially if you're playing on anything other than hard. Though the weapons provided by restoring the shops beyond that boulder are quite strong.
