    lol Crashn the boys.... I was just thinking of that game. Never got around to playing a proper 4 player local match. Can't deal with that overpowered CPU AI... it's just nuts.

    I had no idea what Knytt Underground was about, so I looked it up on nintendo.com.





    Well, look at that. This Wii U eShop game is rated M for "Sexual Themes, Strong Language." Interesting. It looks like a platformer, and it's developed by Nifflas (real name Nicklas Nygren). Now where have I heard that name before?

    Ah, Nifflas worked on NightSky. Knytt Underground is actually part of the Knytt series and has already been released on other platforms before.

    Anyone know much about the game?

    I got the game for free on PSN+, played it for about half an hour, and deleted it. I didn't find the platforming satisfying and I vaguely remember finding the dialog really annoying.

    Knytt Underground really opens up on chapter 3 I believe where the world has an insane amount of rooms to explore... but sadly, it still didn't grab me. I wouldn't judge it by the first couple of chapters as those that do enjoy it say it gets a lot better once those are cleared but it's still not enough for me to recommend.

    Holy crap, Nintendo is not going to release Super Mario Bros. 3 on the 3DS eShop until after Christmas, eh?

    And I guess we're not going to get Shantae and the Pirate's Curse this year...or Shovel Knight.

    I'm seem to vaguely remember playing Shinobi III when I was in college and thinking it was cool, maybe I'll check that out.

    Finally, a Nano Assault Demo! I tried it on the 3DS and I was impressed so, I bought it on sale for $9.99. I'm going to have to wait on my Wii U to get back to try this.
