    Brilliant... Hamsters? Feels like it's been a while since we've had a talked about eShop game for the 3DS. Unless if this is actually good... which I'm guessing is not

    It hasn't been THAT long since Dual Destinies came out, is it?

    Might grab Legend of the Mystical Ninja with some leftover Wii points. It has co-op right?

    @anon_mastermind

    You can't use Wii points on the Wii U...

    They trying to pull an Arkham Asylum with Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2? That movie came out months ago!

    I guess he could use them to buy it on the Wii Shop Channel and then upgrade the game for the full Wii U VC experience? Or does it not work that way?

    Either way, yeah, it has co-op.

    Well, looks like my plans to design a game called Brilliant Hamsters have to be scrapped, now.

    Sometimes an idea is so good, you have to strike right away before someone beats you to the punch.

    Picking up 3D Sonic most likely for that price, and Ecco the Dolphin whenever it hits.

    @kriswright

    You could still make a football game about playing football...with your dog. In space!

    I know, I mean now I have a reason to buy it off the Wii Shop, I can transfer it over to Wii U. I have leftover points since I transferred my Wii.

    There's an interesting interview at Siliconera with the developers of 3D Sonic that implies the 3DS's unique architecture makes porting Genesis/MegaDrive games (and perhaps most other legacy platforms) surprisingly difficult. Maybe that's why the 3DS VC doesn't get much love.

    Siliconera tried out the Japanese version of 3D Sonic and said it felt lacking, especially compared to the cheaper iOS version. I still might buy it, cuz owning Sonic the Hedgehog on a dozen platforms just isn't enough.

    Goemon fuck yeah!! Loved that game to pieces since I was a kid. Had it on Wii VC as well.

    Glad Nintendo has some decent VC releases going. Getting a nice Konami backlog starting with Best Castlevania 4.

    @nate38

    Reading about the amount of work that went into making the Genesis games work in 3D makes me want to buy Sonic. But I kinda don't like those games.

    Ooh, Mystical Ninja stuff? Intriguing.

    @kriswright

    And Kris, it goes without saying that I'm going to have to back out as a principal backer to your Brilliant Hamsters game. I'm sure you understand.

    Not really.

    I guess that's why no one ever really talks about it.

    The Donkey Kong sale is pathetic, they didn't even discount DK '94 for GB.

    Its nothing like Donkey Kong or Donkey Kong Jr. You're Stanley the Bugman, and you run around spraying up at Bee's and Bee's Nests.
