    Yeah, that's what I said.

Yeah I forget how awesome SSF was. Too bad 4 took a shit on everything I loved.

Did you ever play the Street Fighter III series? I've found those have polarized the fans, for some reason.

I've never heard of Zero Escape. Is this something I should look into?

Yes. Absolutely yes. That game will melt your skull. So incredibly good.

...But like was mentioned, hunt down 999 first

Not as good as 2 of course, but yeah I actually really loved 3. My complaint on that game though was I didn't like many of the characters (how they played I mean), I stuck to mostly just Ryu and Ken.

I only really played vanilla 3, never got into the...expansions. Played it a ton on the Dreamcast. Music was very awesome and unique in that game. 4 shoulda been ultra sexy animation and art instead of a lame TF2 esque monstrosity. And fuck is the music sad.

Alpha series was pretty good but it got too complex later on. And then the music got sorta crappy too.

I just finished VLR, amazing game. At that price, can't go wrong. Just don't save your game in puzzle rooms.

Surely that was fixed for the download. The Vita version apparently didn't have that bug. It is tempting to double dip...

I was excited to see Ninja Gaiden 2 on there but nope. 3DS release. How lame.

I don't think it was fixed. I'd advise to avoid saving in the puzzle rooms, especially the PEC room. Just put your 3DS into sleep mode and carry on the puzzle later.
Anyone going into VLR, absolutely play 999 first, or you will miss out on a lot of interesting developments. That being said, the two games actually have some big differences between them, in presentation and mood/atmosphere. VLR is more complex, much longer, more polished experience, but 999 is a more haunting, atmospheric and mind-blowing. Play 'em both, if you know what's good for you.

Nope, not fixed. I got caught by it. Although that was the PAL download....

AND, don't save in that room at all, puzzle or not. I was in the story sequence when that happened. Lost 17 hours of progress.

Find which path that room is on and do it first IMO. That's what I did in my second play through to get it out of the way.
