    Who would pay $5 for Galaga anyway?

    I came in here to say the same thing about NES DK. Blech!

    I know, right? Especially when that game is already included in like, EVERY FREAKIN' RELEASE OF NAMCO MUSEUM EVER. I mean, it's a fun old game, but how is it not $0.99? At the most?

    If the $5 purchase also included Galaxian, and had online leaderboards for both, then...maaaaayyyybeeeee I could see spending five bucks. Even then, that's a tough sell.

    Even Donkey Kong seems pricey at $5, tbh.

    You think THAT game can compare to the might of My Western Horse 3D ? You have to joking.

    @ploot I don't know why they don't use the arcade version. Remember when Nintendo rolled out the Virtual Console Arcade?

    If Nintendo had movies on their service, I'd say they should just do a King of Kong cross promotion where you could get the movie and the arcade version of DK :). Or maybe if you buy King of Kong on DVD, you can get a promotional code for DK on the VC.

    @Pokefreak911

    My Western Horse 3D has only a horse. ONE. The Barbie game has not only Glam Pups, but ALSO Groom Pups. Glam AND Groom Pups! That's at least twice as many animals.

    Now that's a deal.

    Yeah, DK is too expensive (especially if you got the DK Original Edition download last year). I enjoy a lot of Virtual Console games, but Nintendo seriously needs to be more flexible with prices.

    The weird thing is, they ARE! Or rather, they have been. Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Game Gear games on 3DS have had variable pricing, depending on the game. Not sure why they are so stubborn when it comes to NES games.

    Is this Donkey Kong the one with all the levels?

    Missed this thread and the news of Trine 2 being on sale, but noticed it on the eShop, so now I'm laying my grubby mitts on it.

    Speaking of Nintendo Downloads, except old news, has there been any talk about SteamWorld Dig here on the boards? If so, I've missed that too.

    Yeah...this week is um, weak. But I suppose after several Thursdays in a row with quality stuff (Shantae, Earthbound, SteamWorld Dig, Picross-e 2, and Ducktales) I suppose one "off" week isn't too terrible of a thing to "suffer" through. Plus the Wii U has that new Splinter Cell game available, so it's not all bad.

    @sirmastersephiroth

    No. It's the NES version. Has 3 levels, no "pie factory."

    @GameDadGrant Fail. They have to code for the complete game and they still want to sell this one.
