    @Guillaume

    I'm trying to remember, but I think all puzzles are available right away in the first Picross e. I did all the puzzles in the game and felt like I breezed through them fairly quickly.

    I've only played a bit of e2. I went through Easy Mode and played a little bit of Normal. The difficulty seems to ramp up much quicker than in the first one. There are far less 5x5 puzzles in easy. There's also a new mode called Micross. You do a huge puzzle (80x80 I think) a smaller chunk at a time. I've only started the first one and it's fairly easy so far. We'll see how the later ones go.

    I wish they'd just release one Picross game and have DLC for it. You could have game themed packs. "Animal Crossing it out, download a pack of AC puzzles for $1 or $2." They could do it for holidays or sporting events. They could have easy and hard packs. Big and small packs. Or they could just release a random pack every month. I'd buy them all.

    Japan-only eShop game. Looks interesting.

    Is that Bike Rider DX the same as the Playstation Mobile game, do you know?

    Ah so that's what micross is. Is it just one 80x80 challenge or multiple murals ?

    I know breaking up an 80x80 is already a lot but multiple would be best.

    There's more than one. I've done two so far.

    On-tap for Thursday: Harvest Moon (Super Nintendo) on Wii U.

    Rising Board 3D is on sale for $1.49, it's by the developers of Pop Island (DSiWare) so it should be a fun time burner. Can't beat that price, especially on eShop.

    Cool game for sure. I'm not sure if I want to update it for my Wii U or not though (have it on Wii VC). Do VC save files carry over upon updating for Wii U?

    @TriforceBun

    Transferring from Wii to Wii, yes. Wii to Wii U upgrade, no. Which is a bummer, but I got the game as a gift (something Nintendo should bring back) years ago and haven't booted it up. I'll pay for it.

    I just wish they'd add Harvest Moon 64 to the VC when N64 games become available...

    I just finished the final puzzle in Picross e2. Overall my play time was 12 hours, which is 3 more than what I put into the first Picross e. There were definitely some difficult puzzles by the end, but a lot of easy ones as well. And the Micross were all very easy. So that was disappointing. I felt like this game assumed you played the first one, so hopefully the third one will have even more difficult puzzles.

    I have Picross DS and Mario's Picross, both of which I still play on occasion (haven't quite finished the puzzles). Would you recommend e1 or e2, or neither?
