Nintendo's at it again to try and push eShop sales and this time, if you add $50-$99.99 to your account, you'll receive a promotional code by email for $5 in eShop credit. Add 100$ or more and you'll receive $10 back. This is great as major titles are finally starting to release on the Wii U starting with Pikmin 3 on August 4th.

Indeed. In fact it would probably be false advertising since the promotion never specified it. Definitely make a fuss if you don't get that extra $5 along with Nintendo's response...

It definitely seems like an issue for Canadians, since there are people on NeoGAF with the same issue. I added $50 last weekend, and I haven't even received the email from Nintendo yet. Since it was $50 Canadian, which is currently worth less than $50 US, that may explain why I didn't technically "qualify" for this promotion.

I'll wait until tomorrow, and if Nintendo still hasn't emailed the $5 code I'll have to contact them.

Already got another email with my second 5$ promotion code. At least I can split it between the Wii U and 3DS if I wanted to!

It was pretty ignorant of Nintendo to only offer this promo for less than a week. I would have bought into it, but had other shit going on. So, just for this, fuck buying Pikmin 3 now. So now, I save $60.

I'm really getting sick of Nintendo lately. I have not bought a game since launch and I don't see myself buying any Nintendo games for the rest of this year. Im not impressed at all with their lineup. They pretty much ran Mario games into the ground, bring out, at times more than one title a year, if you count the 3DS as well. Before I couldn't wait to play the next Mario game, now I don't give a shit about Mario games anymore.

@gamewizard65Yeah, let's all not buy Pikmin 3 because a SALE was only valid for specific time frame that didn't fit our schedule. You know how long entering in credit card info takes.
