Both the new games look like fun. I think fishing will be my fave.

Yea, VIP mode doesn't really make sense to me, but I'll see what people say in reviews.

The two new games are just in time because I'm just about done with all the old ones (one more flower to get in Flower Town, still that stupid 300 battles hat in Warrior's Way although I'm inching closer.)

I wonder if they'll add more hats. If so, I wish I had saved some plaza tickets instead of buying ones I had no interest in just to spend them.

They've shown new hats in the Direct. Splatoon hats for instance.

I don't remember it being announced but it seems to be a Streetpass thing going on because I got 6 people from far off places at McDonald's today.

I'm looking forward to the new games, too. Prope stuff is always interesting, and they DO have some fishing game credentials. That game seems like a slightly more exciting version of Flower Town, and the Good Feel Zombie game seems like another cool, finite traditional game in the vein of Mii Force.

VIP mode is weird. Maybe some hats are restricted?

New hats are good, I didn't get all the hats from the last round, but I got all of them I wanted, so I have some tickets saved up.

Soooo... anybody try the new stuff yet?

Bought the new games. I will report back once I have some Streetpasses to test out.

One cool thing in the update is the addition of The Vault. You can store games that you're done with there and they no longer bother you about playing them before you go to the Plaza Gate for new Streetpasses. Very nice.

Oh shit... the vault might be worth the price of admission... lol

The vault is part of the free update.

I wanted to try the new games tonight, but updating the streetpass plaza apparently nuked today's streetpasses. My advice is to not greet people in before you update.

Score! And noted... sorry you lost out in some streetpasses.

I wonder if you need to be VIP to buy all the stuff. Seems like the birthday thing can get you a lot of plaza tickets.

I think they've sped things up in existing games. Getting my flower watered seems to be going much faster. If and when I upgrade to New 3DS, Streetpassing will really be quick.

I've played through the introductory gameplay for both of the new games. Ultimate Angler introduces a clever setup where streetpassers give you bait and help you reel in fish. Bait seems to be categorized by a mii's shirt color, and you can mix bait to catch larger, sometimes fantastical fish. It's appealing, and the presentation is great just like Prope's Monster Manor. The music is awesome!

Battleground Z's opening scenario is much briefer than Ultimate Angler's, so it's a bit more difficult to read into this game. That said, slashing through comical-looking zombies with weapons that reflect your mii's hobbies is amusing. I'm a fan of Good-Feel's Mii Force game, so I'm looking forward to collecting Streetpass tags and playing through this.

They sound pretty cool. I guess I'll cash in my expiring Reward Zone credit for Nintendo Points and pick them up.

As far as the premium thing, it seems like a way to get all of the stuff without finishing the more tedious tasks. It's certainly a good alternative to beating 300 StreetPassers in Warrior's Way. Time is our most important resource!

I finally grew the final breed in Flower Town. Trevor suggested I try to get all the colors next. I'm tempted, but also considering just putting the game in the vault. Maybe I'll see just how many more colors I have to grow.

I've also got less than 50 battles to do in Warrior's Way. That one is definitely going to the vault as soon as I finish that stupid challenge.

I'm enjoying the new games. I probably prefer Ultimate Angler to the zombie one, just because the zombie one is pretty simple and short. Getting all the achievements might be trickier though.

Definitely enjoying filling my tanks with fish in UA and seeing all the exotic locales. It seems there aren't that many coupons to get in that one, though?

Beat Battleground Z! The credits sequence was great. Not my favorite Streetpass game but still fun and worth what I paid.

Now to start getting medals and taking on the bonus stages. This game doesn't seem to clearly tell you how many Plaza Tickets are available as far as I can tell but I'm sure a FAQ will know.

Ah, StreetPass games. I've finally finished off a couple. Got all the Plaza Tickets for Mii Force and Warrior's Way. I'm working through the final job listings in Flower Town, and looking to finish all the Puzzle Boxes in Monster Manor soon.

I think once I finish off Flower Town, I'll update and get the new games. They sound interesting, and with Find Mii, Find Mii II, Mii Force, Warrior's Way and Puzzle Swap all on the proverbial "Done Pile" I'd like to have something new to keep me StreetPassin'.

How do you find or initiate a puzzle box in Monster Manor? I've never encountered one and I'm midway through my second full playthrough.

You have to have StreetPassed multiple people - at least two or three in one go. Then make a single-color room large enough so that there are several of those treasure chests inside. Randomly, one of the people you got through StreetPass will also show up in the room, and then randomly offer a Puzzle Box to you.

I know that seems like a lot of this relies on a bunch of "random" events happening, but it's honestly not too difficult. I believe I've cleared out over half of the puzzles myself, so it's not impossible. Just takes a bit of grinding. For better or worse.

Also, to get ALL the puzzles, you have to have beaten Monster Manor at least once, then re-start over from the beginning to get the rest of the boxes. It's no small task!
