@-JKR-Find Mii 2 is whole separate game! It's been out for months, do you not have it for some reason? I want millions of play coins, I need water to make my plants grow so I can earn $60,000 and buy my dream gazebo.

@-JKR-You have to beat Find Mii twice to unlock Find Mii 2, I believe.

I usually rush through Flower Town as fast as humanly possible, but it's alright. It uses your Streetpasses kind of inefficiently, though. And that gazebo is too expensive!! After punking out in the face of Koovaps giant army twice in a row, I finally took him down in the Warrior game! Felt good, man. By the way, does fortifying your castle give you ANYTHING useful? Besides the privilege of allowing you to spend fifteen play coins at a time?

@AnandYou get more and more mercenaries for that 15 coins. You also get the ability to see the enemy's next move.

@AnandIf you "call a friend" for 2 play coins it just picks random people out of your streetpass plaza. You were wearing dog ears.

Yeah, the more I play Flower Power, the more I get into it. It's a little slow going, but there's a ton of stuff to do, and collecting all the breeds is going to be addictive.

@deathly_hallowsOut of date! I'm rocking a... actually, I don't even know what the hell I'm wearing now. I've been exchanging tons of those tickets. I wonder how likely it is that any of these customizations will become usable in 3DS/Wii U software.

The girlfriend is addicted to Flower Town and loves it. I dunno. I can recognize it's addictive, but I don't find it fun. Still playing because it's short, but just for the hats, which makes me feel like a moron. The flowers have quickly jumped the shark, though. Anyone else got a cake flower yet? It's pretty silly. Only 20 breeds in the game and they made up a bunch of them!?

@GuillaumeAgreed. Least favorite of the four easy. I just don't see the appeal personally.

@AnandYeah it's a couple years old, frozen in time. I've been wearing the cheeseburger hat for at least a year, but just today I decided to give the ole cowboy hat a try for a while, it's pretty stylish. I also got the DK Barrel hat today, it's pretty hilarious. Hey did you guys know you can get a plaza ticket just for snapping a pic of your garden? What an easy one! @GuillaumeHmmm, sounds dumb. Miyamoto came over the other day with some silly faberge egg plant. The reason I like this game is to learn about the real flowers. @DrFinkelsteinI think my favorites are as follows: 1. Flower Town 2. Monster Mansion 3. Mii Force 4. Warrior's Way But I like them all, even Warrior's Way is okay, though it's tedious if you don't get a lot of streetpasses to bulk up your army.

@GuillaumeAren't all the flowers "made up?" I thought I read a disclaimer about that when first booting up the game. Only some of them are fake? .... I don't know much about flowers. @DrFinkelsteinIt's like Animal Crossing-lite. You can customize a garden (instead of your house), you can take on jobs from the townsfolk (instead of doing favors for your neighbors), you can grow and collect different breeds of flowers (instead of growing different kinds of fruits/coconuts/bamboo), and even cross-pollinate with other flowers to get hybrid flowers of different colors (instead of....oh wait, that's exactly like the flowers in Animal Crossing, lol!). You can even earn new hats and costumes for your Mii...which is kind of like getting new outfits and such for your villager avatar...except those hats and costumes are applicable in other games, too. Maybe you're not seeing the appeal of Flower Town since New Leaf is a thing that exists. So that particular "itch" is already being scratched.

@GameDadGrantOh man they're all fake? I was wondering... because some of the names are like "Destina" family and whatnot. I thought maybe scientist were just cheesy. EDIT: well some of them are at least partially real, I just grew a Japanese Camellia. But it doesn't look like the information is all correct, according to Wikipedia the family is "Theaceae" not "Destina". Hrm.

Count me as another person who's warming up to Flower Town. It definitely started out slow, and explained things way more than was necessary, but now that that's out of the way, it's actually pretty fun to grow/customize gardens! And I just grew my first Rare Breed today!

Master Gardener Achieved! Now I just have to work towards buying the biggest, most badass garden expansion possible and filling out the expanded journal that lists every breed in the game.@GameDadGrantReally? Maybe you got the ticket the next time you played? That happened with me and my first garden expansion, it didn't register until my next session and Mr. Mendel said "hey I notice you expanded your garden, here's a ticket".

@deathly_hallows, @-JKR-You guys were right, I got my ticket the next time I booted up the game. Nintendo needs to make Flower Town one of the games that is compatible with the 3DS Photo Share function. I'd like to show off my garden to more than just those on my 3DS Friend List. (which admittedly, I haven't done yet...hm. Maybe I should do that soon.)

@deathly_hallowsCongrats! I think I have 5 and 6 flowers to go on the 2 3DSes I play on (going through all 4 games on both leaves me little time for "real" games!). I could probably burn through my play coins to speed things along, but I usually get one new breed a day, with only a few duplicates so far. It might be my secret favorite game of the four as well.
