Capcom's biggest Wii effort by far recently got a release date - April 6th - and now it has something else to celebrate: Wii Speak support. There will be a bundle that includes the black Classic Controller Pro and Wii Speak.
In the Japanese release you could only communicate via preset messages or a USB keyboard. Still no word on whether the monthly fees will be removed or reduced.
I'm not sure if this game is going to be my thing... I've never played a Monster Hunter game before, and I don't know what to think about the post earlier that referred to the game as a co-op boss battle fest. The things I do know are that this game looks amazing, Wii Speak and CCP included is great, and I'd love a game to play online for my Wii. If the online is free, I don't think I'll be able to pass this up, just to give it a try.
I still wont be buying it.Repetitive battling, small areas separated by loading screens,no story.Just hours of doing the same thing over and over.Im not sure why this series is so popular. The monsters and character models look good aside from that the rest is pretty meh.
Aww, I already have WiiSpeak, but I so wanted that Black Classic Controller. Depending on the price of the bundle, I may just get it and send the extra Wii Speak to my Uncle. Hopefully it's $60, but I have a feeling it will hit $70 at the least.
There will also be a bundle with just the Classic Controller Pro and the game!
i would pay 5 dollars a month to play this game without friend codes. This game needs too have seperate online servers. one for those who want free online, and another for those who want full chat to anyone whenever they want with a friend system and lobbies to meat up with thousands of hunters.

You could say the same thing of pretty much everything out there. The monsters and areas and boss patterns are very varied, it's not less varied than a beat'em up or a fighting game or a FPS.

Pretty much.
you gotta love games that require you to be as powerful as you can possibly be. think PSO or WoW. WHen you play those games online its so you can one day be one of the most powerful players. This game may play differently but the fundamental idea is there. Craft gear to maximize your capabilities so you can show off your power by slaying t-rex yourself in x amount of time.
